Want to write, design, produce, facilitate, invent, share, or create in some unique way with GovCity, or syndicate your existing work with us?

As creators and lifelong students ourselves, we respect the time, energy and insight you pour into that which you produce. We know you spend time giving of yourself to your words, imagery, notes.

Because of this, in this initiative launched by the GovCity 3 Cohort of 2020, we are setting out on this goal with the stated objective to formally launch GovCity Collective, while also experimenting in revenue share with our contributors and creators. Contingent on the legal/ethical approval by your respective organizations, your intellectual and creative contributions will be acknowledged not only in growing your own voice across our channels and yours, but we will honor your contributions to this ecosystem by putting an actual value on it.

Here’s to proving that it pays to speak up.

Application process. This is our first attempt out of the gate, so if this effort interests you, please walk into the experience well aware that we do not have all the answers and we will look to our founding Collective team to help us define them. You will essentially be part of a small startup team within GovCity. This might sound sexy, but working off the seat of your pants, pivoting on a dime, handling frustrations, investing copious amounts of trust, being accountable in addition to your day job — is not for everyone.

We can promise this will be fun. Frustrating. Experimental. Life-changing. Potentially career-changing. Fruitful. Educational. And also frustrating (yes, we know we wrote that twice).

Ready to dive in? Tell us a little about yourself and why this matters to you. If you aren’t selected for the founding team, or don’t hear from us (due to the amount of applications) your information will stay in our system and we’ll tag you in if you’re a fit later down the line. And bring your own computer, you creative types have so many tech/design preferences we’re not going to go there.
